RE: What are you currently reading?
Oh oh Wuthering Heights is a REALLY good book. I had to read it in school for class, but I am SO glad we did! :D
Also another good series of books to read are The Dark is Rising series. They made a film of the second book (fucking pisses me off, why can't these cunts ever start films at the beginning of the series instead of the fucking second book so no fucker except people who've read the book have clue about what's going on?!?! Fuck. ) of the same name, but I strongly recommend you read the whole series through from the beginning. It's especially highly recommended if you have any interest at all in the Arthurian legends. :D

RE: What are you currently reading?
I've just read the 7th installment of the Artemis Fowl series, "The Atlantis Complex" and it was just as fantastic as the ones before it! Everything in it had me on the edge of my seat and wanting to get to the end as quickly as possible to see what happened, which is always a good thing in a book methinks XD
Also I adore Wuthering Heights, it's always been one of my favourites since I read it (at the tender age of 6 years old!)

I currently reading interview with the vampire, first book out of ten in the vampire chronicles and the language Anne rice uses is beautiful.I would recommend it to anyone and everyone that loves reading and understands the beauty the English language can hold.

^ TASTE
ffff The first one is alright, if you really want to get into Anne Rice I find from Lestat on to be quite entertaining, I just hate when she gets into the whole 'omfgee RELIGION' spiel ; ;

RE: What are you currently reading?
I dunno... I tried to read Interview but I found that she spends so long at the beginning describing every minute detail with painstaking laboriousness that by the time she tries to pick up the plot I'm stabbing myself in the eyeballs with a rusty fork to stop myself slipping into a coma (I also didn't think she had that much of a command of the language, but what do I know? XD)... And I REALLY wanted to like it too ;_; (this is, of course, my own opinion - I know there are those millions of people out there who love it but meh)
I'm not far into the first of the Artemis Fowl series - bit late to it, I admit, but I'm enjoying it so far :3

RE: What are you currently reading?
I dislike Anne Rice.
As a vampire fanboy, I begrudge the Christianity being rammed down my throat. Also, IWTV was amazing. After that, she fucked up. Not impressed, didn't read anything else after that.
Tbh, I'm damn, damn picky with the portrayal of vampires, and so, I've never found anything that actually entirely floats my boat.
Meh, though, no matter, as I spend my time submerged in fantasy anyway, that and writing, so

Ahhhh... ^ this is kinda why I almost soiled myself when someone explained in quick-capsule-review the idea behind Twishite... For me, that whole debacle just takes the piss... But again that's just my opinion
I probably didn't get far enough into IWTV to find the Christianity in it as I don't remember seeing it XD

RE: What are you currently reading?
It's more in her later work she hammers Christianity, there's a wee bit of it hidden in Louie's "omg I am a monster help help oh no" moping, but further in the series, it gets worse.

RE: What are you currently reading?
I'm currently starting to re-read a book I bought from Waterstones a while ago called "The Lovers' Room" by Steven Carroll. It's set in Japan around the time of World War II and it's about a romance that blossoms between an interpreter for the Allied Forces and a Japanese girl called Momoko, and about the inevitable betrayal that follows!
It's a little slow to get going but it makes for compelling stuff if you give it chance, also I liked the picture on the cover of the book which is half of the reason why I bought it in the first place (also it was on offer 3-for-2 lol)
